Before You Spend Another Penny on Marketing…

Before You Spend Another Penny on Marketing, Read This

One thing I’ve learned after more than 20 years inside dental and aesthetic clinics is that growth is not always about finding more patients. Sometimes the biggest opportunities are already sitting inside the business.

  • In the diary.
  • In the database.
  • In the pricing.
  • In the team.
  • In the treatments you already offer.
  • And in the systems that probably haven’t been looked at properly in a very long time.

When things feel slower than they should, the natural reaction is often to think:

We need more leads. More ads. More marketing. And sometimes, yes, that is part of the answer. But sometimes the issue isn’t how many people are coming through the door. It’s what happens once they’re already there.

  • Are they converting?
  • Are they coming back?
  • Are your most profitable treatments actually being prioritised?
  • Is your diary being used properly?
  • Does your team understand the value of what you offer?
  • Are expensive pieces of equipment genuinely delivering the return you expected?

These are the questions I find far more interesting. Because over the years I’ve seen clinics work incredibly hard while missing opportunities that were already sitting right in front of them. That’s really what Inside the Clinic is going to be about.

  • The things that make money.
  • The things that quietly lose money.
  • The things that get overlooked.
  • And the small changes that can make a much bigger difference than people expect.

Most of it comes back to three areas I keep seeing again and again: Pricing. Patients. Performance. I’ll unpack those properly over the coming editions. But for now, here’s the question I’d leave you with:

If you weren’t allowed to spend another penny on marketing for the next six months, where inside your business would you look for growth?

If that question makes you stop and think, good. That’s exactly why I’m writing this. And if you run a dental or aesthetic clinic and you know there are opportunities in your business that you’re not quite getting hold of, feel free to connect with me or drop me a message. Sometimes an outside pair of eyes can spot what becomes invisible when you’re in the middle of it every day.
